Former high school principal pleads no contest to sex abuse

ALBANY, Ore. (AP) - The former principal of Central Linn High School has pleaded no contest to a charge of second-degree sex abuse.
The Albany Democrat-Herald reports that Michael Bremont was sentenced to 30 days in jail and five years' supervised probation. He will be required to register as a sex offender.
The 39-year-old man is scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 30 in Deschutes County on similar charges involving a 15-year-old Redmond student.
Bremont was arrested in June on the Linn County charge, which involved improper contact with a 17-year-old Central Linn student between October 2005 and June 2006.
He then took a job with the Redmond School District and founded Redmond Proficiency Academy in 2009, where he was the principal.

Here is a progressive liberal who appears in court with a progressive liberal lawyer, being opposed by a progressive liberal district attorney, in front of a progressive liberal judge. I am suprised that he got any sentence at all. I guess you have to do something otherwise the public would get too upset. At least they still have some fear of that.
 @souptonuts You're an idiot....
@calmplexx @souptonuts Thank you, glad I got your attention.
