Former exotic dancer: Alloway aggressive at club
YONCALLA, Ore. -- Former exotic dancer Brandy Hood said she immediately recognized Daniel Alloway's photo after Thursday's standoff.
"Oh my goodness, it scared me so bad, I about jumped out of my skin," said Hood. "I thought, 'okay, if he fooled me, what if he fooled an elderly person?'"
Hood said Alloway visited Phil's Clubhouse in Springfield up until about three and a half years ago, when she stopped working there. According to her, Alloway told the other women he was a police officer, and he was convincing.
"He had Homeland Security I.D., he had badges, he had the little bar things in his car," she said. "He would tell us that he ran our plates, tell us where we lived at."
"I second-guess things sometimes. He had all the lingo down, everything," said Hood.
And sometimes, Hood said the phony police officer became aggressive with club employees.
"If you can't give me a free dance, I will make sure that I get one of my buddies to pull you over on the way home, bust your tail light," she said.
"He was really convincing so we were all kind of scared of him."
Police said they have received calls about other interactions with Alloway and they will be looking into those tips. Hood said she was compelled to come forward to share her interactions.
"I would feel so responsible if somebody got hurt and I knew something that could have protected them."
