Gunmen in ski goggles rob bank
MAPLETON, Ore. - Two gunmen in ski goggles robbed a bank beforing fleeing in a beat-up white hatchback Friday morning.
The armed men robbed the Siuslaw Bank in Mapleton on Highway 126 around 10:30 a.m. Friday.
They fled the scene in a white, 1990s 2-door hatchback with a blue interior. The car was described as beatup
Suspect Descriptions:
Suspect #1:
- Male, standing approximately 6'0" to 6'3"
- Wearing a white jumpsuit/ coverall
- Thin build
- Wearing ski goggles and carrying a long gun
Suspect #2:
- Male, slightly shorter than suspect #1 with a heavier build than suspect #1
- Suspect was described as wearing a black jumpsuit/coverall with a black or brown leather vest over the coverall
- Wearing ski goggles
I have often thought that every bank needs a trap door right below the tellers window. The crook comes in sticks a gun in the tellers face, and bingo he is on his way to you know where. Hope they catch these guys before they hurt someone, and I will give odds they have both been through the failed justice system many times.
