LOWELL, Ore. -- Nearly an hour after asking for the public's help in finding a developmentally delayed 19-year-old from Lowell, deputies reported finding Samantha Caylor heading to Washington state.
Caylor's family reported her missing after she left their home on Place Road early Saturday morning.
They thought she may have taken her light blue cruiser-style bike.
The Sheriff's Office said Caylor, who functions at around the level of a 12-year-old, could have been in danger.
Almost an hour after releasing the missing persons report, Deputy Gordon Gill announced that Caylor had been located "in transit to Washington" and was no longer missing or at risk.
