EUGENE, Ore. - A winter storm could drop snow on the upper elevations Wednesday or Thursday, forecasters said.
The snow level is expected to drop to around 1,000 feet, well above downtown Eugene but low enough to dust the South Hills with snow.
Several inches of snow could accumulate in the Cascades.
However, the National Weather Service said snow would be heaviest in the northern Oregon Cascades south towards Santiam Pass. Snow is possible in the Coast Range, too.
As the storm moves in, forecasters expect a better idea of where and when snow will fall. Watch KVAL News and KVAL.com/weather for updates.
