K-9 helps deputies find cocaine, 14 pounds of pot during traffic stop

PORTLAND, Ore. – Sheriff’s deputies arrested two Myrtle Creek, Ore. men during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 after a drug detecting K-9 named Spencer helped deputies find 14 pounds of marijuana and a half pound of cocaine in their SUV.
Multnomah County sheriff's deputies stopped a Toyota Tundra on I-84 eastbound at milepost 11 at around 5:20 p.m. on Friday. Spencer alerted the deputies of drugs in the SUV.
Deputies arrested Francisco Flores, 24, and Anthony George White, 29, on drug charges. Both suspects were taken to the Multnomah County Jail.
Deputies said the pair also had more than $32,000 in cash.
Another big drug bust. And nothing accomplished. What will happen. We put these guys up in prison for awhile. They get better connected. They are out in months doing the same thing. Allot of tax money spent for what? Just legalize all this junk. Why are we killing people over cocaine? Who cares?
@givupongod ---it is very sad that the 420 and Coca Cola travels in the same circles with the meth and heroin. It's all about one-stop shopping these days. Or rather dealers. Legalizing the refer and coke might drive out the meth and heroin. Only problem is that Coca leaves don't grow well here. But, they can find a way hopefully.Â
The Sheriff is a dog. I'm stoned! Â That's what his name tag says...
Looks like there will be more unrest in Murder Creek when a bunch of people don't get payed their cut, because Sheriff Shepard is sittin' on it like a "Big Dog".
Sounds like a good bust to me. Â Stop crime? Â Catch as many as you can; try them swiftly; keep them in jail as long as possible; catch them again when they get out. Â There is no such thing as rehabilitation unless the crook has been habilitated before he is arrested (and there is no such word as habilitated). Â
That dog is a junkie.Â
He doesn't care about the weed or coke godless...it's the cash.
He can buy alot of "bitches" with 32G's....that's how he rolls.
I'm certain Mr Flores and Mr White were just delivering "medicine" for their patients...such good doctors.
