Life in prison for pimp

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A man convicted three times of prostitution-related crimes has been sentenced in Portland to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Prosecutors say the youngest of the women Gregory Hightower Sr. exploited in a current round of charges was 16. Prosecutors say several came forward to help make a case against him.
KOIN-TV reports Hightower was convicted in 1988 in King County, Washington, of promoting prostitution and a decade later in Multnomah County of compelling prostitution.
Most recently, a Multnomah County jury convicted him in December of prostitution and sex abuse charges. Judge Edward J. Jones sentenced him Tuesday.
In court, Hightower said he was innocent, and his lawyer said he would start preparing an appeal.

Pimps are trash but Johns are just as bad. Â Prison's too good for 'em.Â
Brokering in the world's oldest occupation among teenage girls should warrant the penalty of death. It is too expensive for taxpayer's. It has cost them too much already from the 3 convictions. And, has cost society dearly for the thousands of times he did not get caught doing it.Â
I truly wish a life of living hell for this dirtbag.
It was a racist hate crime if he was abusing/pimping white girls.
@Florence Aw, the old double standard raises it's ugly head again?
I have a great idea for a reality show, how about we follow this guy around in prison. Tell all the other prisoners he is a pedophile to make it a little more interesting.
life in prison what a joke take him out behind the court house and pop him in the back of the head and be done with it he has preyed on the people of this state long enough
Sex offenders are at the bottom of the social tree in prison, especially if classed as a chomo. Have fun, buddy. Don't drop the soap.
I don't think Mr Gregory Hightower Senior is going to enjoy this. Â Now he gets to see that turn about is fair play.
