Man arrested for stealing $10,000 worth of merchandise
COOS BAY, Ore. -- Police arrested a man on Friday who they say is suspected of stealing more than $10,000 worth of merchandise from several Coos Bay stores.
41-year old Samuel Clifton faces aggravated theft charges after police linked him to a number of thefts from local retailers like Fred Meyer and Wal-Mart, officials said.
Police found Clifton with stolen merchandise during an investigation into the thefts.
Coos County authorities filled two trucks when dispersing the recovered goods to their rightful owners, police said.
Oddly enough, items not included in the inventory were shampoo and body soaps.
Limited jail space will result in subject's being back on the streets before you can say "Where's my TV set gone" Â but he was just practicing Obama-style income redistribution, sort of like Robin Hood taking from you rich guys and giving it to the poor. Â As people in another column pertaining to a fellow with six or so charges while found in possession of a stolen US mail truck said, "He's just a good guy down on his luck - don't be judgmental."
/sarc on// But, but, but, according to the botox queen Pelosi, he's entitled. He's just down on his luck, so he had to make ends meet. ///sarc off
Hard to believe store security didn't catch on to this clean cut looking guy a little sooner.....like before he stole enough to fill a second truck!Â
I'm sure he just mislaid the receipts and his attorney will be able to clear it all up on Monday or Tuesday at the latest.
This guy stole? No way, I just can't believe it!
