Man dies after a fall on OSU campus

CORVALLIS, Ore. -- A Corvallis man is dead after falling from an Oregon State University building early Thursday morning.  

Oregon State Police Investigators are looking into the death of 26-year old Dylan McKinnon after two students found him critically injured near a campus building. 

The students found the man in the parking lot north of Covell Hall around 2:30 Thursday morning. McKinnon told the students that he fell from the roof of the building. 

The man was found laying nearly 50 feet from the building. Investigators say the death does not appear to be suspicious, but it was the result of 'an intentional act'.

The man died while Corvallis Fire Crews transported him to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center.

Initial reports say the man was not a student at the University, OSP will release the name of the man later this evening.
