Man gets 3 years for child porn
Nathan Combest

EUGENE, Ore. - A man accused of distributing child porn from his computer got 3 years prison Thursday.

A judge sentenced Nathan Combest to 36 months in prison for 2 counts of Encouraging Child Sex Abuse in the 1st degree and 3 counts of Encouraging Child Sex Abuse in the 2nd degree.

Combest has been in the Lane County Adult Correctional Facility pending trial since Feb. 22, 2012.

Both of the convictions stem from the distribution and possession of electronic images of child pornography on Combest’s computer, the sheriff's office said.

The conviction stems from one of the 7 search warrants involving child pornography that the Lane County Sheriff’s Office has executed in the last year.

Of the 7 search warrants, 6 of the cases have been resolved, each with a guilty verdict and a sentence for prison time ranging from 18 to 36 months.
