WILSONVILLE, Ore. – Police cited an Oregon City man for DUII after he was seriously injured in a crash at a rest area along Interstate 5 early on New Year’s Day.
A state police sergeant responded to several calls from the French Prairie Rest Area south of Wilsonville about a suspicious man who was injured, according to Lt. Gregg Hastings. The sergeant found the man in the bathroom.
Hastings said Chael Jakob Lynch was injured in a crash at the rest area a couple of hour earlier when his Toyota Camry collided with a tree.
Medics took Lynch to OHSU in Portland. Police expect him to survive.
Police later cited Lynch for DUII.
