EUGENE/SPRINGFIELD, Ore. -- The Memorial Day holiday is a time to honor those who died serving in the military. On Monday, May 28th there will be  ceremonies around the Eugene and Springfield area allowing people to pay tribute to those brave service men and women who have paid the ultimate price for our country.

 

Eugene: 

9 a.m. - Annual Memorial Day ceremonies at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 300 Mary Lane.

11 a.m. - Memorial Day ceremonies at Eugene Pioneer Cemetery, sponsored by American Legion Post 3. 18th and University Street.

12:30 p.m. - Ceremony at Lane Memorial Gardens, 5300 W. 11th Ave.

2 p.m. - Ceremony at West Lawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 225 S. Danebo Ave.

 

Springfield:

10 a.m. - Memorial Day ceremony at Springfield Memorial Gardens, 7305 Main St.

12 p.m. -  Memorial Day service at Springfield Veterans of Foreign Wars building, 5344 Main St.
