Oregon woman beats up burglar
MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) — A Medford woman who caught a burglar in her home says he was begging her to call police after the beating she gave him.
Kathlene Brown says she found the man in her bedroom when she returned from work Early Sunday. She says she punched him in the face, grabbed him by the ears and knocked him in the head with her knee.
The Mail Tribune reports the fight continued into the hall with kicking, choking and biting.
When police arrived the subdued intruder was in Brown's living room, bleeding from his nose and mouth.
The 23-year-old man was jailed on burglary and other charges. Police found Brown's TV and stereo equipment outside her bedroom window.

Kathlene didn't need a gun. The burglar is not dead, maybe he just wished he was....For punishment he should be humiliated. Billboards should have his picture emblazoned across them with his attempted crimes listed and that he was beat up by the lady homeowner. That would be cheaper than prosecuting and housing him, and tons more fun than releasing him due to overcrowded conditions. Maybe this is how the stupid have to learn.
