Oregon National Guard Soldiers role-play as casualties during the Vigilant Guard Exercise, await evacuation following a simulated bleacher collapse at the University of Oregon's Hayward Field, in Eugene, Ore., May 2. The Vigilant Guard Exercise is designed to test the interoperability of local and state first responders and the National Guard, and has been coordinated with U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) and North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD).
