Senior Flights
This July 10, 2012, photo shows Dan Kramer of La Grande, one of three senior citizens to get a ride in a 1942 Boeing Steadman biplane at the Union County airport, in La Grande, Ore. Three residents of a La Grande retirement center received a ride of a lifetime. Each got a flight over the Grande Ronde Valley in a World War II-era biplane. The flight was provided by pilot Darryl Fisher of Ageless Aviation Dreams, a nonprofit that provides biplane flights for seniors throughout the Northwest. (AP{ Photo/The Observer, Brad Mosher)
