In this Feb. 4, 2013 photo, a giant barometer, which is used to measure atmospheric pressure, is being built in the Engineering building at Portland State University, in Portland, Ore., as PSU employee Kyle Lutz, top right, and Tom Bennett, who works in the civil and environmental engineering school, position a support tower while engineering student Annamarie Mohsen watches from below.
