Members of Occupy Eugene march from the Wayne Morse Free Speech Plaza, 8th & Oak, in Eugene, Oregon, to the Federal Courthouse on Friday afternoon, 20 January, 2012. About 30 people participated in the march. The march, according to members of Occupy Eugene, was intended to protest the Supreme Court Citizens United ruling that holds corporations are people and therefore can anonymously donate unlimited amounts of money to political campaigns.

Fire crews responded to a house fire in Salem at about 5:30 a.m. Tuesday. While fighting the fire, crews discovered the four bodies in the home. The children's father was later found dead in a car near Cottage Grove.
