Police: Driver, pregnant woman arrested after crashing stolen car

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. - A man and pregnant woman fled police in a stolen car before crashing into a telephone pole and attempting to escape on foot Thursday night, police said.
The woman, 29-year-old Alicia Kimberly Heakin, is pregnant. She was checked out at the hospital before being booked into the Lane County Jail on failure to appear in court on earlier charges. She also faces charges related to stealing the car and fleeing police.
The driver, Anthony Joseph Molaski, 27, faces an even longer list of charges related to the car chase, including assault, robbery and resisting arrest.
The incident started when police spotted a stolen 2003 Saturn Ion in a parking lot on Q Street around 9:25 p.m.
Officers saw two people run out of a store and get into the car. When police approached the car, it took off.
After the crash, both Molaski and Heakin ran from the scene. Officers caught up with them about a block away, police said.
thats my brother....
this is why we need jail beds and street cops... prolific criminals.
People like this should be paid for permanent sterilization.Â
silver linings come in various forms. Â hopefully this is one for these two. If a bond came up just for a sheriffs work camp I would vote for it.. Â Sometimes it just takes fresh air and hard work to realize life is not that complicated.
Such a nice young couple....
Check out her sweet meth-influenced eyebrows....nice
Is that a tire mark on the side of his face?
@11bravo  I suspect that is what you look like when you 'resist arrest' in Springfield. In the olden days, their motto was reputed to be "Take No Prisoners".  This is the softer more pc SPD.
@hewhoo Also guess what Anthonys dad is a Springfield Police Officer. Officer Scott Molaski. Wonder why they beat the crap out of him.
@joeykylekids  @hewhoo just because they have the same name does not mean thats his dad... this is my brother and none of you know what you are talking about
What a lovely couple; does anyone know who is handling the bridal registry?
