ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Police have identified the body found in the South Umpqua river as that of a missing Roseburg man.
A follow up investigation by the Oregon State Medical Examiner’s Office led to the identification of the body as that of Levi Paul Jones of Roseburg.
Jones was reported missing to the Roseburg Police Department on January 3, having last been seen leaving a home on SE Pine St. on the evening of December 30, 2012.
The Medical Examiner’s Office determined that Jones’ death was by drowning, and that foul play is not suspected.
I don't think they teach proof reading in journalism school any longer. I am constantly finding errors and omissions in news stories here.
What the heck is a "bady"? Need a proof reader? I will work part-time. :)
@jonsies You get what you pay for.
