Police: Man shoots at woman, threatens another with gun

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ore. -- A Glendale man is in the Douglas County Jail after police say he shot a pistol at one woman, and then threatened to shoot another when she refused to give him his vodka.
A 29-year-old female from the Tiller area reported an incident that occurred on Wednesday, where she says she had an argument with Jacob Douglas Schlichting, 28, at a residence on the Tiller Trail Highway.
The victim reported that the man was drunk and upset when he fired a pistol at her from about 100 yards away.
Police say Schlichting's mother came and picked him up and took him to Glendale.
While he was at his mother's house, he allegedly got into another disturbance with a 28-year-old female from Coos Bay. Police say the woman had hidden his vodka because he was already drunk.
He allegedly told the woman to tell him where it was hidden and threatened to shoot her in the kneecaps. Police say she didn't believe him until he came into the room with a pistol and pointed it at her.
Deputies arrested him and charged him with unlawful use of a weapon, pointing a firearm at another person and reckless endangering, among others.
His bail is set at $77,500.
