Police: Newport man sold meth from home near high school

NEWPORT, Ore. – Police arrested a Newport man who they said sold methamphetamine from his apartment located half a block from Newport High School.
Police served a search warrant at 63-year-old Edward “Larry” Marrazzo’s apartment at 333 NE 2nd Street on Tuesday. They seized methamphetamine, packaging materials, scales and other evidence of drug use, police said.
Marrazzo was arrested and taken to the Lincoln County Jail. He faces charges of unlawful delivery of meth within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of meth, and frequenting/maintaining a place where controlled substances are kept or used.

Good thing he wasn't in lane County, he'd be out of jail by now.
