SPRINGFIELD, Ore. -- Officers arrested a woman for robbing a Springfield deli at knife point after she walked into the police department looking for information on another case, Springfield police officials said.
At around 11:20 p.m. Thursday a woman armed with a knife robbed CJ's Deli, police said
While responding officers didn't catch the suspect, they said that they got a clear photo of the woman from surveillance video.
The next day Erica Marie Sharp, 21 of Eugene, came into the Springfield Police Department to ask about property that was seized in an unrelated incident, officials said.
Police officers said that "the robber was made from the surveillance photo", and they arrested Sharp on first-degree robbery charges.
Officials said that they are continuing the robbery investigation.
