ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Police are looking for information on who allegedly fired two gunshots in Roseburg Monday night, after an apparent dispute between a male and female.

Roseburg police received several reports of gunshots in the 1600 block of Fairmount Street just after 10:00 p.m.

A witness told police she saw a male and female arguing, and says she saw a pistol in the females hand. She then told police she saw the female fire the gun into the ground twice.

After the two were done arguing, police say the male left on foot down Cecil Avenue and the female left in a dark colored passenger car.

Police canvassed the neighborhood, but were unable to get a better suspect description.

Police did find two cigarette butts on the ground, and a spent .32 auto casing about three feet away.

Police are still looking into the incident.
