Police: Two from Eugene-Springfield caught on I-5 with pound of meth
MYRTLE CREEK, Ore. - Police seized over a pound of crystal meth, a stun gun, cash and oxycodone in a traffic stop earlier this month.
Officers arrested the occupants of the car, who are from Eugene and Springfield.
The investigation started with a traffic stop just before 1 a.m. Sept. 9 on Interstate 5.
Officers from the Myrtle Creek Police Department found over a pound of meth along with $737 in cash inside a bank bag.
They arrested Leon Norman Provost, 44, of Springfield and Tiffany Marie Hill, 24, of Eugene.
Hill also had a stun gun and oxycodone pills.
Provost was booked on charges of possession and distribution of meth and a parole violation.
Hill was booked on charges possession and distribution of meth, possession of oxycodone and being a felon in possession of a restrictedweapon.
