EUGENE, Ore. - Police are looking for more information after a witness reported seeing a woman get pulled into a dark sedan outside of a Eugene bar Wednesday night.

The witness heard the victim yell "Help!" before being pulled into the vehicle, police said.

The witness told police he saw the incident at around 7:50 p.m. Wednesday outside of The O Bar on 115 Commons Drive.

Police didn't have a victim or suspect description.

The witness described the sedan as an older dark-colored, four-door car.

The dark-colored sedan travelled eastbound on Commons Drive and then turned right onto South Garden Way.

Residents in the area did not know about the reported kidnapping.

"It's a bit suspicious. It's a bit shocking," UO sophomore Jessica Lee says. "You don't hear about this stuff happening in such large apartment complexes because a lot of people are watching."

Derrick Mitchell, former Coast Guard rescue swimmer says these neighborhoods can attract outsiders.

"Very bizarre to me," he says. "Pretty concerning because people float through, especially in a university community."

The Kinsrow area is home to Duck Village, Stadium Park Apartments and nearby Chase Village.

"Surprised is all I got to say about it," LCC freshman Blake Allen says. "That's the last thing I expect here."

Police checked the area and missing person reports without any luck. They are continuing their investigation.

They're asking anyone with information on the incident to call 541-682-5111 or Detective Jennifer Curry at 541-682-5166.
