Police arrest naked man walking near Beaverton school

BEAVERTON, Ore. – Police arrested a man who they said was walking naked in front of a Beaverton middle school Wednesday morning.
Police said a school bus driver who was driving a bus with students on board spotted the naked man near Five Oaks Middle School at around 7:15 a.m.
The school was locked to prevent the man from going inside.
Washington County sheriff’s deputies were in the area and found the man near NW 173rd Ave. and Fieldstone St.
Police said 23-year-old Russell David Persons was wearing socks, shoes and a backpack but no clothes.
Persons told police he had just left a friend’s house and he didn’t believe it was a problem that he was naked. He was arrested and taken to the Washington County Jail. He faces a disorderly conduct charge.
