Police find man wanted for murder in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. -- Springfield police have arrested a man they say is wanted for murder in southern California.
On Tuesday, the Livermore Police Department contacted Springfield with information that Jacob James Kober, 24, might be in the area.
Police say Kober was wanted for an alleged murder that occurred in late December.
Springfield police found the man at a local residence at around 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, and he was taken into custody without incident, according to police.
Kober was lodged in the Lane County Jail, where he is currently awaiting extradition back to California.
It would not shock me one bit that he's out, we need a better mayor with better ideas on how to fund the most important part of the city the JAIL. what good does it do to bring them to court if you can't hold them accountable with jail time. More money down the drain ..what a scam
and he is released due to lack of bedding
