Police find syringes in search of 'filthy' home
SPRINGFIELD, Ore. - Officers raided a filthy home full of syringes and other drug paraphernalia Wednesday morning, the Springfield Police Department said.
Police serve a search warrant at the L Street home shortly after 9 a.m.
Inside, the found 7 adults. Officers arrested two people, 37-year-old Dennis Lowden and 38-year-old Bobby Boyd, on warrants; a third person, Sabrina L. Williams, 34, was arrested on charges of theft by receiving and frequenting a place where drugs are used.
Police got the search warrant after receiving complaints about illegal activity at the home.
Officers found syringes in the home, which they "found to be in filthy condition."

I fail to see the newsworthiness of the story.Â

@Jason Marks: Despite the brevity of the article, you and your friends RougeCoyote and Florence apparently missed the paragraph: "Officers arrested two people, 37-year-old Dennis Lowden and 38-year-old Bobby Boyd, on warrants; a third person, Sabrina L. Williams, 34, was arrested on charges of theft by receiving and frequenting a place where drugs are used." The story probably isn't newsworthy to anyone not living in the neighborhood, but I bet the people living near the house feel otherwise. Part your problem with the story may be that it is hardly more than a long headline. Having access to news online is beneficial a good thing for most people, but even online stories need to be accurate and complete.
MOre people who will have to live on welfare after their bodies fail from taking drugs to long.
@Ritual99--- sad but true. after one is a felon, they know they can never get an honest job again and just deal and party like it is 1999. and then the system rewards it by putting the scum on welfare, food stamps, food banks and a life of liesure w/o ever working again. they will make more money than a parent slaving away on 3 minimum wage jobs paying taxes for them.
How did the complaints know the activity was illegal? Sounds fishy.
@godless anarchist ---if it walks like a duck...i heard some visitor got loaded and stuck a syringe in the neighbor's dog just to test some junk..and then the dog was acting kinda' "fishy".
What more would you wanna' know man? i am sure the whole neighborhood knew it was an open secret. and when they type in "sex offenders in your neighborhood.com" and the address is a stones throw away...I am sure the neighborhood watch groupings were able to narrow it all down. Get real GA!
