ALBANY, Ore. – Police and school leaders at South Albany High School were on alert Monday after a student discovered a threatening note written in a bathroom stall at the school.
Albany Superintendent Maria Delapoer told KATU police searched the school to make sure it was safe. Officials believe the school is completely safe for students.
Tuesday classes were not canceled, but there will be an additional police presence at the school, Delapoer said.
A student saw the note and reported it.
The school notified parents by phone and email about the threat.
