Police seize $64K worth of marijuana from Grand Ronde home

GRAND RONDE, Ore. -- A 23-year-old man is facing drug and assault charges after police found more than 20 pounds of marijuana in his home.
Sean Whitehead faces fourth-degree assault and strangulation charges. He also faces charges of unlawful delivery, manufacturing and possession of marijuana.
The charges stem from a Nov. 2 domestic disturbance at a home in the 29000 block of Joe Day Way in Grand Ronde. During the investigation of the domestic disturbance is when police found 20.4 pounds, including 3/4 of a pound of kief, of marijuana worth more than $64,000. Police found 60 marijuana plants, 83 Mason jars filled with processed marijuana and several bags of processed marijuana.
Whitehead is currently at the Polk County Jail with a bail of $107,500 as police continue to investigate the case.
