Possible kidnapping at South Eugene High School

EUGENE, Ore.-- The Eugene Police Department is looking into a possible abduction at South Eugene High School Thursday evening.  They say a witness called to report suspicious activity in the northeast parking lot of the school at 5:09 p.m.

The report says the witness saw a fairly new white SUV speed into the parking lot and stop near a young man.  Three men jumped out of the back of the vehicle and placed a "white hood" over the top of the victim, and then carried him into the SUV.  The three men got back inside the vehicle which sped off westbound on East 19th Avenue.

Eugene search the surrounding area but did not find a vehicle or any potential suspects.  The possible victim is described as a young adult male wearing a white jacket, jeans and carrying a backpack. Police say there have been no missing persons reports that match this description.

Anybody with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Eugene Police Department at 541-682-8374.
