EUGENE, Ore. - When Dwayne Swezy saw his RV up in flames, his first worry was for the man who lives inside and provides security on the property.
"I thought that he hadn't made it," Swezy said, "and I was looking through the flames trying to see if I could find him and then off to the side, I saw him."
The man was OK. No one was in the RV at the time.
Fighting the fire in the unoccupied RV halted traffic on Highway 99 on Wednesday morning.
Fire crews responded to the scene at 7:30 a.m.
A fire captain told KVAL News that a firefighter hurt his back fighting the blaze.
The Red Cross is helping the man who lived in the RV.
