REDMOND, Ore. – A Redmond school principal died Friday in a motorcycle crash on Highway 26 near the Crook/Wheeler County line, police said.
John Kevin Hartford, 54, was driving his motorcycle on the highway at around 5:30 p.m. when he hit a guard rail while going around a curve. He was thrown off the motorcycle, police said.
He was wearing a helmet, police said. He died at the scene.
