COTTAGE GROVE, Ore. - Rescuers pulled an unresponsive woman out of a reservoir early Friday morning and revived her, the Lane County Sheriff's Office said.

Sheri R. Miller, 40, was in stable condition at Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend after the near drowning and water rescue, the sheriff said.

Friends reported Miller swam out into Cottage Grove Reservoir near Lakeside Park around 1 a.m. and didn't return.

Deputies and search and rescue personnel responded with a boat.

South Lane Fire assisted by searching the shoreline.

An air ambulance responded to the area and spotted Miller in the water about 60 feet from the search and rescue boat.

The boat crew pullled Miller unconscious from the water and revived her en route to shore, where she was transferred to the air ambulance and flown to the hospital, the sheriff's office said.
