Robber wearing orange wig makes off with deli money

EUGENE, Ore. -- A man wearing a curly orange wig robbed the Richards Deli on W 11th late Thursday night, the Eugene Police Department said.
EPD officials said that a man walked into Richards Deli just after 11:20 p.m. Thursday, pulled out a handgun and demanded employees open the register. After it was opened the man took money from the register, leaving the scene in a dark 90's model Jeep Cherokee.
The man left the handgun at the scene, which was identified by police as a replica.
Employees described the suspect as a white male in his 30's, around 5 foot 8, wearing a curly orange wig underneath a baseball cap. The man is reported to have brown eyes and a goatee, and witnesses said the man appeared to have dark brown hair underneath the wig.
EPD said that the suspect is still on the loose; they are continuing the investigation.
Deli? more like a video poker and smokes store.
So KVAL is in the fortune telling business now. 11:20 pm Friday, I'll be sure to stay away from that area tonight.
