ROSEBURG, Ore. - A fire destroyed a nightclub and heavily damaged a limousine parked outside Wednesday morning.
A Douglas County Sheriff's deputy noticed smoke coming from the roof of the Chrome Nightclub on Diamond Lake Boulevard around 1:43 a.m.
Firefighters responded and battle the flames for over 2 hours before they were able to bring the fire under control.
The Roseburg Fire Department said crews were putting 3,000 gallons of water per minute on the fire at one point.
Firefighters kept the flames from spreading to any adjacent buildings.
Diamond Lake Boulevard closed as fire crews worked the flames.
The structure, valued over $169,000, appears to be a total loss, the fire department said. The fire destroyed the contents of the building and heavily damaged a limo parked out front.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
