Slim Down with Seth: 15 weeks down, life to go
EUGENE, Ore. - Fifteen weeks have gone by since Seth Wayne decided to start trying to lose weight.
His doctor told him that if he didn't lose weight, Seth could develop type 2 Diabetes, which is the most common form of the disease caused by being overweight.
And what a difference time makes! Working out is natural to Seth now, and according to his trainer Nicole Cook at the Downtown Athletic Club, it’s all about sticking it out.
“It takes consistency. You will experience soreness,” Cook said. “You will experience heavy breathing - you will be uncomfortable but that is not something that will last. It gets easier as you stay consistent.”
Tune into KVAL News at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, to find out how Seth is doing at the gym – and how much weight he lost this week.
