How low will it snow?
EUGENE, Ore. - How low will it snow?
Forecasters said snow fall should be hit-or-miss in the southern Willamette Valley as cold temperatures and showers wash over the region.
The National Weather Service had reports of light dustings of snow as low as 500 feet on Friday. Snow levels could fall to the valley floor across a wide swath of Western Oregon.
The weather prompted forecasters to issue a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the Interstate 5 corridor from Eugene to Portland.
The mountains of the Cascade and Coast ranges, and towns like Oakridge and Cottage Grove, face Winter Weather Advisories. Accumulation of more than a half foot is likely, especially at higher elevations. Santiam Pass | Willamette Pass | >>> More weather cameras
