Springfield house fire displaces family, no injuries

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. -- The fire marshal is looking into what started an early morning fire in Springfield that displaced a family.

The fire broke out at around 2:00 am inside a mobile home on Daisy Street, off of Bob Straub Parkway.

Fire crews say it looks like it started in the attic space, then spread to an outbuilding before they knocked it down.

Three people were inside the home at the time.

They were able to get out safely, along with their dog.

Officials say the Red Cross responded to assist the family.

No word yet on how much damage that fire caused.
