PORTLAND, Ore. – The stepmother of Kyron Horman is in the process of changing her name.

The Medford Mail Tribune reports Terri Horman filed a petition June 30 with the Douglas County Circuit Court to change her name to Claire Stella Sullivan.

A hearing is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 4.

Kyron Horman disappeared from Skyline School on June 4, 2010 after Terri Horman brought him there that day to attend a science fair.

Kyron, who was seven at the time, never made it to his regular class. He was reported missing later that afternoon when he didn't return home on the school bus.

A massive search came up empty. No arrests have been made.

Investigators have long focused on Terri Horman, although they have not named her as a suspect.

Terri Horman has been living with her parents in Roseburg, Ore.
