NEWPORT, Ore. -- Police arrested three people on drug-related charges Friday during the search of an apartment near Newport High School, police said.
On Friday, Lincoln Interagency Narcotics Team detectives, along with Newport and state police officers, served a search warrant at an apartment at 430 NE 5th St. that was linked to methamphetamine and prescription drug sales, police said.
The apartment is a half block away from Newport High School.
Jesse Michael Luckini, 35, lived at the address with Jade Nikole Leisure, 22, and Tammi Kay Brown, 45.
During the search officers found methamphetamine, packaging materials, prescription drugs, a gun and other evidence linked to distributing drugs.
Police arrested all three people and transported them to the Lincoln County Jail.
Luckini was charged with both delivery and manufacturing methamphetamine within 1000 feet of a school, maintaining a place where controlled substances are kept or used and possession charges for meth, Oxycodone and other prescription narcotics. Leisure faces charges of delivery of methamphetamine within 1000 feet of a school, possession of meth and frequenting/maintaining a place where controlled substances are kept or used.
Brown was charged with possession of methamphetamine and frequenting/maintaining a place where controlled substances are kept or used.
