A tree fell on a house Saturday, trapping a quadriplegic man for more than 40 minutes as rescuers worked to free him. The man is currently in the hospital, and his landlord said it's a miracle he has no serious injuries.

EUGENE, Ore. - A tree came crashing down on top of John Ogden's home Saturday, trapping him inside.

Ogden, who is a quadriplegic, was trapped inside for 40 minutes as rescuers worked to free him.
He escaped serious injury but was taken to the hospital to be checked out.

Ogden lives in back of Pleasant Valley Foster Home with his wife and his caregiver.

His wife wasn't in the home, but Ogden and caregiver Laura Drake were inside when the tree fell.

"It sounded like a freight train coming through," Drake said. "I don't even know how I got out. I just know that I must have climbed over him to get out."
