VIDA, Ore. -- A woman died in a car crash early Sunday morning after police say her vehicle spun out in a curve on Highway 126E near Vida.

Another driver spotted the 1993 Toyota Camry at around 1:45 a.m. resting in a ditch near milepost 30. State Police aren't sure when the crash took place.

Emergency crews arrived at around 2 a.m. Sunday. The driver, Jennifer Coach, 40, of Blue River, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Officials said Coach was heading east on the highway when she crossed the center line while going around a curve about 4 miles east of Vida.

Crash investigators say she over-corrected, sent the car into a spin, and crashed into a ditch on the opposite side of the highway.

State troopers are asking anyone who saw the vehicle traveling between Springfield and Vida sometime after midnight to call (541) 726-2536 ext 439.
