Two charged after break-in at Eugene school
EUGENE, Ore. - One teen was arrested and another cited after a break-in at Willamette High School early Wednesday morning, police said.
Police also got a report of a possible break-in at Kelly Middle School at 2:09 a.m. Details from police were scarce on that incident.
In the Wil-Hi break-in, someone reported hearing breaking glass and male voices. Police said a window was found broken on the northeast side of the school. Pat McGillvray with the Bethel School District said someone broke into a vending machine inside the school.
Eugene police responded with a Springfield police dog in training. They contacted four juveniles. Police arrested one 15 or 16-year-old on charges of second degree burglary and criminal mischief. A 15-year-old was cited and released on the same charges. The two others were let go after being contacted by police.
A window and a vending machine? Wow - it could have been a lot worse.
And why were they out at 2 in the morning? Â Were they sneak outs or do the parents not have any control?
See this is what happens when you let kids platy Video games,People make your kids work and keep'em busy
that way they might not get in trouble.
