Two face attempted murder charges after shooting on Oregon highway
COTTAGE GROVE, Ore. - As the two pickups raced north along a rural Oregon highway as dusk turned to dark Wednesday night, the driver of the Dodge Dakota intentionally rammed the Ford F150.
Then a passenger in the Dodge blasted the Ford with a shotgun, Oregon State Police said.
The shotgun hit near the Ford's front wheel. The driver, Harold Lloyd Wilson, 49, made it to a convenience store, where he reported the incident to Oregon State Police.
State troopers and Lane County Sheriff's deputies tracked down the two men suspected of being in the Dodge pickup at the Saginaw Trailer Court Mobile Home Park.
After an investigation by state police detectives, both men were arrested on multiple charges, including attempted murder.
Detectives said the ramming and shooting incident on Highway 99 around 6 p.m. followed a dispute at the trailer park.
The driver of the Dodge, identified as Joshua James Miller, 27, of Springfield, was booked on charges of attempted murder, menacing, recklessly endangering another person and reckless driving.
The passenger in the Dodge, identified as Daniel Clinton Moore, 34, of Cottage Grove, was booked on charges of attempted murder, unlawful use of a weapon, being a felon in possesion of a firearm, recklessly endangering and menacing.
State police, the sheriff and the district attorney are continuing the investigation. Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to contact Detective Jamin Vanmeter at (541) 726-2536 ext.241.

I feel sorry for the people who live in this trailer court personally I would rather live under a bridge it would be safer. As for the felon with the shot gun I am sure he stole it obviously he is not a law abiding citizen.
Has anyone stopped to ask how this felon got his shotgun? Â Could it be because, in Oregon, private gun sales and transfers require no background check, ID, or any questions asked at all? Â At least 40% of guns used in crimes were obtained by criminals this way.
If you are against the constitution and have contempt for the rights of Americans, then perhaps you should move to a country that would better suit you such as China or North Korea.
