Wedding Showcase: DJs, discount dresses and everything in between

EUGENE, Ore. -- It was all about the brides Sunday at this year's Oregon Wedding Showcase. People flooded the Lane Events Center to find the perfect features for their big day. 

For Judy Van Valkenverg, it was a day of connecting future brides to the vendors of their dreams.

She helped women pick out florists, DJs, caterers and (most importantly) wedding dresses.

Three different stores brought their dresses to the show and sold them for discounted prices.

"They start out as low as $99 … it's really a neat thing for gals to be able to come in and buy a dress that is hundreds of dollars for under a hundred." said Van Valkenverg.

The Events Center was filled with vendor displays that gave people a chance to see the wedding decor in action. There were also two fashion shows so the brides-to-be could envision what the dresses looked like walking down the aisle.
