Freezing rain left much of the Eugene/Springfield area under a thick glaze of ice, prompting many events and religious services to cancel their Sunday plans. This list is still developing, so it  might be a good idea to call before venturing out to any Sunday event.

All pools and recreational centers are closed through the weekend.

The Emerald Valley Indoor BMX meet at the Lane Events Center was canceled.

The Eugene YMCA has called off weekend programs, and the entire Kidsport weekend schedule is suspended.
