EUGENE, Ore. - The Alamo Bowl may be deep in the heart of Texas, but Oregon fans at home in Eugene are feeling the love.

"It feels like a holiday," said Henry Austin, a University of Oregon senior. "I'm nervous."

While Oregon is taking on Texas in the Lone Star Star, Ducks fans are keeping up the spirit in Eugene.

"I think the Ducks are going to win," said Doug Coke.

While the duck store has been getting new clothing for the game, sales aren't what they used to be.

"Sales have been down in the bowl arena, but we still see some excitement from people going to the game," said Katie Conway, the Duck Store marketing director.

Another change? Nick Aliotti, Oregon's defensive coordinator, plans to retire after the Alamo Bowl.

"I'm kind of sad," Austin said. "I'm going to miss seeing his face."
