Woman accused of hitting bus driver
EUGENE, Ore. - A woman faces accusations she hit a bus driver after being told to get off the bus October 4.
Police arrested Tamela Mae Trice, 21, on November 14 on charges of third degree assault and interfering with public transportation.
Officers credit the arrest to tips from the public received after surveillance photos were released to the news media October 10.
Police responded to the assault just after 7 p.m. on October 4.
A woman got on the Lane Transit District bus near Barger Drive and Golden Gardens Street and took a seat near the rear of the bus, putting her feet up on the seat in front of her.
When the bus driver told her not to put her feet up, the woman reportedly became belligerent, police said.
The driver pulled the bus to the side of the road and told the woman to get off.
Before leaving the bus, the woman hit the bus driver, causing minor injuries.

I am a bit upset they will not keep her. If only she was caught for the identity theft she has been doing for the past few months and all the methamphetamine shes been doing aswell... They would lock her up where she belongs. If she got in trouble for everything was locked up for a while, maybe she would clean her act up for her child. People can wish right?
Why did it take SIX WEEKS to arrest her? She was identified right here the day after the little "I mean big" loser did it!
If your  thighs were wider below the Jorts than they were above the Jorts, you'd be punching people too. So don't judge a person until you've walked a mile in their Jorts.
The drivers are pretty respectful for the most part, however there's been a few of them that I've wanted to smack upside the head.

Heck, she won't be in jail for 10 minutes before she gets kicked out. Not much of a lesson learned, unless they put her on weekend road crew. That would be a nice ending to this :)

YES!! I am thrilled this little snot of a brat was found and arrested! Â For her to think it''s okay to hit someone for the reason that she did, she needs a big comeuppance! Â Jail time, formal probation, anger management, community service work and some hefty fines MIGHT make her think twice before hitting someone else. Â
I've often wondered when a defendant has a 'cutesy' name whether that is an indicator of parental supervision and training as well. So many cutesy-named ones get into custody there has to be some sort of a link. Â
 @hewhoo New public policy: Pre-emptive arrest of anyone with a "cutesy" name. While we are at it, let's pre-emptively arrest all of the round-headed, goateed, buzz-cut, thick-necked, truck-drivin' idiots that seem to appear in every single mugshot in the Register Guard. ;-)
