Officers: Woman fights with police after car chase
ROSEBURG, Ore. -- A Roseburg woman was arrested over the weekend, after police say she fought with them after refusing to stop her vehicle in downtown Roseburg.
Roseburg police say that at about 3:00 pm on Sunday, they received a report of a green Honda that was driving the wrong way and blowing through stop signs in the area of Lane Street.
When officers found the vehicle heading westbound on Lane, they say they tried to stop the female driver, but she continued driving.
The woman, later identified as Kaighley Danielle Stocks, 22, eventually stopped in the 1200 block of Main Street.
Authorities say that Stocks refused to get out of the car, and would not comply with officer's commands, even though they had her at gunpoint.
Officials say they had to physically remove her from the car, and that's when they say she started fighting with them, kicking officers and refusing to be taken into custody.
Officers say after the brief struggle, she was detained.
Stocks was found to be driving under the influence of a controlled substance, police said.
She was lodged in the Douglas County Jail on charges of felony attempting to elude, resisting arrest and DUII, among other charges.

Yet another victim of the police state..."they had her at gunpoint." Yup... that sums it up comrades.
My opinion is, is that she does not look high on meth here...maybe heroin or oxycontin, the way her eyes are. A meth head would have their eyes buldging...lol
@UsaidWHATÂ ---good call, there is no shortage of oxy and heroin in that neighborhood. Meth would probably make her more alert so as to know not to drive down a one-way street the wrong way.
Yet, even the soberest people get trapped by a ticket in that driving local. There is even an arrow on the asphalt partially scrubbed away that points in the wrong direction near Main/Lane St. It has been an excellent revenue trap, long since that portion of the block was converted to two-way traffic.
Just some fair warning for all of you sober drivers out there.

Lane/Main street is in the middle of downtown Berg a couple blocks up from the "WILD ROSE"--- a tweeker bar. I have seen her out in front of that bar all jacked up on something and running her mouth like a hag from hell. I really pity the fool that was dating her. Most of her tweeker friends have mugshots at the DCSInmate in custody list too. Too bad they took that site down this month.Â

@UsaidWHAT          Same here. Same amount of time. All of my friends were tweekers and I didn`t have a friend that I could trust. I had to close the book on every one of them, and move out of town and start over. It`s an evil drug that makes evil people out of regular folk. If a person person makes the mistake of trusting a tweeker, that person will almost always live to regret it., and that is true.  If they were to put them all on a boat and sink it, I wouldn`t lose a minute`s sleep
